Today is the start of my desk cleanup. The first item is the manual for the convertible booster seat that’s been sitting there since the day it was assembled. I don’t know for sure, but I suspect it’s been since at least October, though probably even earlier.
It’s function has been substituted with the digital copy, downloaded from Fisher Price’s Site, stored in Evernote. The best part of using Evernote, which I’ve done for other manuals, is that by storing it in a dedicated notebook, and using the tag “manual”, it’s easy to find any manuals, such as the one for our Roku and the car seats.
As a nice extra, by going with Evernote Premium, even the uploaded PDF (or other image formats) get OCR’d if the document isn’t already searchable, and the contents are then indexed so they’e also searchable!
